We're Alan Robertson (left) and Henry Tenby (right) hailing from Vancouver, BC, Canada, and we're the "No BS movie review gents". We're passionate film afficianados but not full-time film critics. We try to review films as frequently as we can. Additionally, we try to review movies for our own pleasure, and hopefully yours.
This website reviews movies from a different slant. We tell it like it is folks. So, if a movie that we review is recommended viewing, we classify it as "right". If on the other hand a movie is not recommended, and stinks (pardon the pun), then we simply say it is "shite", Which usually means save your money and wait for the DVD rental.
Personally, our movie tastes include splatter fests, gore fests, commedy and all types of horror films. That said, we will review all film genres for your entertainment. In this day and age, a night at the movies for a couple can knock you back $20 to $30, which is a significant chunck of change. If we can save you some money helping you avoid the shlock movies, then we'll consider our job well done.
One of our main goals is obviously to review movies, but at the same time, we are aiming to have fun doing the movie reviews. From time to time we might throw in a concert review as well as we also like rock'n'roll, or more precisely, we like loud, long-haired heavy metal. The kind that you have to turn the amp up to 11 on the volume dial! We don't take ourselves too seriously, and we hope you won't be offended with our occassional off-coloured sense of humour.
